Tomorrow, 21st April is World Curlew Day

Curlew Country Manager, Amanda Perkins will be on BBC Radio Shropshire at 8.35am tomorrow talking about this year’s work and our activities for the day.

At 7.00pm in the evening the newly formed Curlew Recovery Partnership is holding its first webinar.  The speakers will be Mary Colwell, Dr Geoff Hilton from WWT, Dr Sam Franks from BTO, Chloe Palmer from the Peak District and Curlew Country Manager Amanda Perkins will be talking about Curlew Country.

The CRP Chair, Mary Colwell, will provide an introduction, followed by presentations on the latest Curlew research by Dr Samantha Franks (BTO) and Dr Geoff Hilton (WWT), and on engagement with farmer clusters and local communities from Amanda Perkins (Curlew Country) and Chloe Palmer (Peak District). There will then be an open and relaxed Q&A session where participants can engage with the speakers and the CRP Steering Group. If you’re interested in Curlews then you won’t want to miss it!
