At Curlew Country we have a small but dynamic team of dedicated contractors and volunteers. Every member of our team is committed to the conservation of Eurasian curlew in the Shropshire Hills and Welsh Border.
Core Staff
Amanda Perkins
Amanda heads up Curlew Country, responsible for design, liaison, strategy, obtaining funding and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Ornithological Team
Tony Cross
Tony is our Consultant Ornithologist, responsible for conducting our field work, collecting eggs, monitoring curlew pairs and ringing as much as possible.
Caleb Stradling
Caleb is our Assistant Ornithologist, who assists our Consultant Ornithologist. Caleb helps conduct field work, collection of eggs, installation and maintenance of Nest Protection Fences, Curlew Cam and monitoring of Curlew.
